We are Tiny Grocer Café (formerly Bureau de Poste), a wonderful little French-meets-American bistro. Our kitchen brings Parisian classics with a modern twist to the neighborhood. We welcome you in for our new all-day menu that offers brunch every day of the week, casual lunch with friends, and warm community vibes for incredible food. With cozy wooden booths, banquette, and bar seating indoors, and the most beautiful naturally-shaded garden patio outside - a true experience!

Classic French Dishes Meets American Delicatessen
Our menu features French favorites like French onion soup, steak frites, croque madame, and our burger royale. Vegetarians can enjoy our classic caprese sandwich, while seafood lovers can dig into our moules frites.
Grab a coffee and a brioche french toast during brunch, every day from 9am to 2pm. Light snack with friends? Enjoy a charcuterie or cheese board to share! Bring your best friend or family (or even your favorite coworker) to enjoy our French comfort food together.
Wine, Cocktails, and Happy Hour
We boast an extensive retail wine program to pair with your favorite Tiny Meal! Carrying three of Austin's favorite breweries, and offering a hand-picked cocktail menu featuring NA options of your favorites, we have something for everyone. Come by between 3-6pm, Monday through Friday, to take advantage of our new and improved Happy Hour - $3 tallboys, $5 wine by the glass and ½ off all bottles are waiting for you!

Bureau de Poste is one of the most elegant dining experiences in Austin. The food is outstanding—the roasted chicken is perfectly cooked with crisp skin and rich, creamy (gluten-free!) potatoes. The lobster is equally impressive—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I really appreciate how gluten-free friendly the menu is. Several dishes are naturally GF or can be modified, and the staff was helpful and informed when I asked questions. The ambiance is refined yet comfortable, with excellent service from start to finish. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a memorable night out, Bureau de Poste delivers in every way.

Bureau had a delicious Saturday brunch. Very European styled service and food (generally allot yourself more time for dining). The slower pace of service is a welcomed change from normal American churn and burn pacing, but as a result you will get fuller more quickly so be prepared to take food home. The food quality was very high and felt deliberately prepared, but again don't be in a rush here. Our server Edie was charming, helpful, and a fun addition to our brunch.

My business partner and I had a great working dinner here. We sat outside on the patio, which is spacious and lovely. The entrance to the restaurant itself is a bit confusing to find since it is inside the market, but totally navigable. We also did have one issue on the temperature of our steak, but it was quickly remedied. The endive salad, asparagus side and moules frites were supreme. The chocolate mousse was divine. They also have a wonderful wine list. I’d say, this place has great quality food with just a couple of kinks but overall extremely good. 10/10 recommend.
